Mike started racing motorcycles in 1986 at Westwood near Vancouver. He continued racing at Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia between 1988 and 1991. His first race with the Vintage Road Racing Association (VRRA) was the Vintage Festival at Mosport in 1992. Mike’s first time on a sidecar was at the 2010 VRRA Quebec GP when the owner needed a replacement passenger Sunday morning. In 2011 he passengered on a vintage rig. At the end of the 2011 season, Mike bought his own vintage rig which he continued to passenger until the final race in 2013 when he first drove. He has continued driving and won the Vintage Road Racing Association Period 2 sidecar championship in 2014 and 2015. Mike was the passenger on #69 F1 rig for the 2013 and 2014 season until his driver retired. He purchased his F1 sidecar with a Suzuki GSXR 1000 motor in 2014 and has been adapting to the F1. He still races his vintage sidecar.

Sinthia discovered sidecars at the 2015 Toronto Supershow. She watched some races and went out for a a few demo laps. When Mike's passenger from last year formed a team with his best friend on sidecar 13, Mike asked her if she would like to be his passenger. Sinthia said yes, thanked her husband Greg who left Mountain High Racing in need of a passenger, and signed up for the Sidecar Racers Association track school held this May. This is Sinthia's first time participating in any form of motorsports.
